For over 2 Decades Atlanta has been home to the most adrenaline rushing action packed Rodeo’s this side of the Mississippi. Grab your Cowboy hats and boots and come join us for an unforgettable night of entertainment.
The Cobb County Rodeo has been a landmark event for over 2 Decades. Our mission is to provide the best family friendly event, while continuing the legacy of the All American Rodeo Event. In 2017 for our 20 year celebration we added new events including Car Shows, Truck Meets, and a Cosplay event in October called Cowboy Con. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. on both nights – rain or shine – and is expecting to last roughly two hours. The cost at the gate will be $15 for adults and $12 for children. Events in bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie down roping, team roping and barrel racing, (not to mention the trick riders and the rodeo clowns!) the Cobb County Rodeo has proven to be a night of excitement and fun for rodeo fans of all ages.
Gates open at 6pm. The Rodeo begins at 8pm and last around 2 hours.
The cost is $5 to Park at the Fair Grounds and it Cash Only.
4 and under are FREE. 4-10 are Charged a Child ticket of $12 at the gate.

Meet the team
President of the North Georgia State Fair Board 2017-2018. Johnny also Owned and Operated Johnny’s Steak and Bar-B-Que in Powder Springs Georgia for over 20 years. A former Cobb Regional board member for WellStar Health System & Cobb County Ethics Committee, Johnny was also part owner of West Cobb Funeral Home in Powder Springs Georgia for 7 years. Currently Johnny Works for Wilkerson Packaging Corporation and has Promoted the Cobb County Rodeo at Jim R. Miller Park for the Past 20 years.
Owner of Haney Farm & Ranch Inc and Sidekicks Cafe Inc in Rockmart Larry has been competing and producing Professional Rodeo for over 35 years. Past President and Administrator of American Cowboy Association and has Promoted the Cobb County Rodeo at Jim R. Miller Park for the Past 20 years.
Event Project Administrator
Johnathan Woodward graduated McEachern High School in 98’, attended the Baptist College of Truett McConnell and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with the emphasis of Mass Media Productions from Valdosta State University in 2003. At Valdosta State he was one of three students selected to work in the Satellite Services Department which handled all the Mass Media aspects for the University, Including Producing and Directing various live studio productions from classes, coach’s shows, News Shows and all University video productions such as Directing, producing and editing. His field experience ranges from working with ESPN, Fox Sports and CBS as an assistant to the Director’s and Producer’s.
